We had our supper last Friday at The East Beach Cafe; they have a good deal on thoughout November called 'Friday Fish and Fizz', which we both enjoyed; local fresh fish and a glass of Prosecco for a tenner.
There were about half a dozen different choices of fish dishes on offer, I had Gurnard fillet, I'd never had this before and seared, it was tasty and succulent. Sue had Fish (Hake) and chips which she announced "Excellent".
A good dessert for each each topped the bill off at a bargain £30 ish.
Service was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and attentive without intrusiveness and was generally nice.
Other diners civilised and decent.
I have to comment on eating in this building at night, the lighting is dynamic and creates the image of light reflecting on water, this is cast over the ceiling, which is shaped in a wave pattern that roofs the inside of a sea cave. It's a wonderful effect for a seaside setting.
