“Will definitely return!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

The place is in a lovely location within easy reach of the beach, restaurants and shops. What a beautiful place to stay. Couldn't fault our room at all. We were in room 3 which had a gorgeous balcony with great views. The room was spotless, tastefully decorated with probably the most comfortable bed and sofa ever. Didn't want to leave. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and at breakfast, especially the poached eggs and homemade bread were amazing, Nicole was very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. She even gave us homemade muffins as a parting gift. Fantastic - would definitely recommend this place as a relaxing, clean and friendly place to stay with a wonderful food :)

Everything was perfect - from the booking process, to the welcome, the stay and the farewell - we could not have asked for more. The room was lovely and the decor fabulous; so much attention to detail. The breakfast was fantastic - we were very well looked after by two wonderful hosts! With such a lovely quiet tranquil atmosphere, and a perfect sea view, it was a great place to escape to and we will definitely make this a regular stay - highly recommended!

Regency guest house was spotless the bed and linen was really confortable, the food and selection was everything we could have wanted, the bacon was cooked to perfection with a nice touch of home made tomato sauce!!
Finally our hosts were perfect friendly and it's obvious they love what they do! Will be recommending to friends and will be back in the summer!!

The owners went the extra mile with our stay and made us feel very welcome. Rooms are at a higher standard than hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was amazing spoilt for choice with everything and where well looked after. Location is perfect looking over the sea and only mins from town. Hope to return later in the year.

The moment we arrived we were greeted by Marina with a warm, friendly smile. Myself and my wife had had a difficult few days and were looking to relax and chill out which is exactly what we could do at The Regency.

The room was huge and spectacular with a modern yet elegant feel and was exceptionally clean. It wasn't like your average hotel or B&B, it had personal touches such as: flowers, books and good quality furniture which had all clearly been thought out. The decor was stylish with a warming feel. The bed was comfy, warm and very cosy and therefore I probably slept better than in my own bed at home. The bathroom was small yet had a modern, classic, functional design and once again was so clean i would not hesitate in eating my dinner off it. The water was hot and, unlike other hotels which provide small sample products, the Regency provided top quality, normal size, products. The towels were fluffy and warm unlike some chain hotels.

In the morning, we were greated by Nicole, who was kind and friendly invitng conversation. We sat down and were immediately offered tea and orange juice which was brought over to the table. We had a large choice of breakfasts, but I had the 'Eggs Florentine' which was supurb, light and beautifully cooked by Marina. Once again it was the personal touches which made it so fantastic. Nothing was too much effort and therefore we both felt comfortable and extremely relaxed.

I would recommend The Regency to anyone. If you want proper service by two people who clearly have a passion for hospitality and for pleasing people then this is your place!

A well run and welcoming b and b on the seafront, with incredably high standards throughout, leaving no room for criticism by any reasonable person. I detected a vein of perfectionism that keeps everything in order without being fussy. In other words " tip-top".

Excellent cooking too.
