Great value very clean and modern rooms. good breakfast.
The food is great value for money.

The staff cannot do enough for you.
Carparking is on the sea front pay and display but bognor must have the cheapest pay and display in England.

Some rooms have a great view over the sea.

Over all if your not a snob this has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in.
I travel the country with work and stay some where different most weeks. Which makes me quite a good judge In my opinion.

Positive points first......Everything very clean and the breakfasts were fine ( but a menu would have helped some guests) and the boss and her staff were great.Beer was Courage at £3.70 a pint@nuff said! We drank nextdoor in the Waverly.
Downside....Hotel this aint...its a beachside pub with rooms and most of those are in a building 2 properties away. The most expensive room (above the pub at the front) has the seaview greatly blocked by a 6 foot effigy of Marilyn Monroe flashing her underwear to all & sundry (not on photo) and also by a donkey driven cart with Elvis at the reins. Tacky to say the least but the good points above just about outweighed Elvis & Marilyn.Hard to enjoy your food outside in the sunshine as the area has many smokers puffing away....its a pity they cannot go over the road to have a fag.
Overall....a "3" rating seems about right.

Room Tip: If you want an unhindered view of the sea do not choose the expensive one at the front.

Its not really a hotel as you would think of a hotel, but a lovely pub with a good menu for food and letting rooms. The room we had was spacious with a seperate seating area overlooking the beach, the bathroom was a little cramped but everything was clean and fresh. The breakfast was a bit hit and miss on the three mornings we stopped, I guess diffrant people cooking. Overall for the price we paid at the time of year we stopped , good value, oh and the staff were efficiant and friendly. Thankyou a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Seaveiw, we stayed in room 1, at the front but quiet.

1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

We booked for a 1 night stay in June 2013 and on arrival found reception was at the bar. Our room was number 6 and although it was described as a budget room ( £65 ) it was extremely small with 2 child size wardrobes, the flat screen tv was very cheap, very small and not a good enough standard for paying guests, having said this the room was clean. Food was expensive for what is basically a pub with rooms and a cheap bottle of red wine cost £16.95 and when I ordered a chicken salad I was told that chef would have to be asked if he could do one, when it arrived the piece of chicken was served on a plate that was swimming in oil or hot butter ( yuk ) with a seperate bowl of salad. We ate in the restaurant area of the pub but noticed a couple in the bar with a dog where bar food was being consumed ( is this still allowed? ) Athough we felt the pub/hotel not over all value for money, the staff were friendly enough. Can't help feel that seaside hotels have lost touch with the rest of the real world of day to day hotels

Room Tip: Advise not to have room 6, automatic wake up at 7am with sound of bttles being emptied into a bin fr...

What a friendly establishment this. The beer is excellent and the food in the restaurant is very good and at a very competitive price. Certainly enjoyed the weekend away with the wife. The public bar seems to be very popular with the locals and visitors alike as it was particularly vibrant on sunday lunchtime/afternoon.The hotel is situated in a convenient location with the town and its shops only a few minutes walk away. There is car parking, although this has to be paid for . It costs £0.40 per hour between 8.00 - 18.00 hours, although there is free parking not too far away.

Recently went here for just a meal, was staying in a hotel close to the Navigator. I went with my partner, the pub and restuarant were busy, we asked for a 2 seater table in the restaurant, and after checking the diary, we was shown to a lovely table, The staff were really friendly, always checking everything was ok, Food was lovely!! We had a 3 course meal, and was extremely satisfied at the end. Best part of the holiday to Bognor Regis!! Would defiently recommend the 'Chocolate fudge cake'!!

Room Tip: Cannt say as didnt sleep here
