“A perfect place for our wedding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2010

We had attended a wedding at The Inglenook some years ago and were very impressed. We decided to hold ours at the hotel, the best decision we made. From the very beginning nothing was too much trouble. The staff treated us like family. They gave us advice when needed and did everything in their power to make it our special day, just as we wanted it. We visited several times and were always made welcome. Telephone enquiries were answered promply,
The bridal suit is out of this world. Several of our guests stayed over and everyone was impressed. The wedding itself was wonderful. Jeremy is the events organiser. What a lovely person. He guided us through the day and made sure all went to plan. The food was as good as any we have had in top class hotels in London. It was all served by smiling, polite staff. Many of our guest said it was the best they had ever tasted. We enjoyed our day from beginning to end.

Thank you to all the staff at The Inglenook for making our day perfect.
If you are planning a wedding, this is the place to go to make sure your day is perfect too.

Stayed for only one night but was very relaxing and felt longer. Nothing really to complain about boringly. Our room was comfortable and quiet with everything you need. We had lunch dinner and breakfast the next morning all very good and served by very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again and happily recommend to others.

Our daughter had her marriage ceremony and wedding reception at the Inglenook and in every way the greatest care was taken by the hotel staff to get things right. The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Quite a few of our party stayed for two nights and all meals were of the highest quality, and the choice was excellent. Our rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Thank you to everyone at the Inglenook for making our daughters day truly a day to remember.

We just love staying at the Inglenook. The food is truly excellent (Inglenook portions are renowned), nothing is too much trouble and we are made to feel part of the family. We have stayed, over the years, in many of the rooms, and really cant understand the odd review we have just read from 'kezza' The Inglenook is a delightful and beautifully maintained old hotel with bedrooms all very much individually decorated. Its all part of its charm.

We always feel we get exceptional value for money.

We have attended some wonderful functions there too, including my sister's wedding which was fabulous and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I have stayed at the Inglenook for almost 2 years during the week. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, the food is very good especially the seafood.
Working away from home for as long as i have could of been a chore - at the Inglenook its has been a pleasure.

this hotel looks lovely from the out side but the rooms are tiny, hot and stuffy with no air con,the old windows bang all night in the wind, the tv was tiner than a babies, the rooms are shabby with poor bed linen.the bathroom tap fell off while running the bath and there are no wash facililies that are nice or usefull.very dated but obviously it is meant to look like that but not nice unless your in your 60s!! £90 a room is disgusting would never stay again in a million years.

Only stayed one night but wished it could have been longer.

Asked if our room could be available early as we were on our way to a wedding and wanted to freshen up & change - no problem at all.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly and seemed to enjoy their job, a rarity these days!

The bedroom was well equipped and furnished, the only complaint was the bed mattress was a bit lumpy.

Breakfast was plentiful and well served and the english breakfast cooked to order was hot when it arrived, again something that it not always found.

If we stay again we will definitely have dinner there as the comments from other guests were very favourable.
