5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2011

Usual good standards of decor and cleanliness. Really nice pub resturant in lovely surroundings considering the location. Staff very pleasant, helpful and friendly. I will stay there again.

Room Tip: Good standards and cleanliness - room a bit small even for two. No towel rail in bathroom

Easy to find and easy to get to everywhere we needed to.
This was a surprise family trip to bring our twins together for their 21st birthday. The staff were wonderful. They couldn't have been more helpful. The restaurant meals were superb in every way either in the bar area or the restaurant. I have never had such a fine breakfast either. We never felt rushed either which was very pleasant.
Despite being just off the main road with the restaurant attached it was blissfully quiet.
Would definitely stay again.
Excellent staff. Wonderful weekend thank you.

Room Tip: we were number 17

The Hotel was easy to find (although sat nav does tell you you have arrived whist still on the main road so beware you need to go up the slip road and over to the right on the roundabout). The staff are friendly, rooms very comfortable with usual en suite facilities.
The adjoining Griff House restaurant is excellent with a good choice of food and drinks.
Excellent for family trips or business trip to Coventry or West Midlands area.

Friendly and helpful welcome from Sue.The room was adequate if a little small and no noise was heard. Later upon arriving at the Restaurant reception we were greeted by a young man who we thought may be the assistant/trainee manager, he was extremely pleasant and helpful. We stayed one night on our way to London and one night on our way back, this gentleman had the same genial attitude on both visits and made our stay most pleasant. The waitress we had on the second visit was called Libby and again she had the same pleasant and helpful manner, the Manager deserves credit for a well run hotel with such lovely staff, a good atmosphere. Food was good. All in all a most enjoyable stay and we will be returning to stay overnight on our future visits and return trips to London. Situated in a position close to the motorway and in greenery with beer gardens and a play area for children.

a premier inn sympathetically developed together with an old house(the pub) and with gardens and childrens play area. Pleasant building with historical connections.
Good staff are friendly and helpful, decent pub and good solid all- you- can- eat breakfast.
Went with wife and daughter and would recommend to anyone.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel used as a base for our visit to the delights of Stoke for a football game! At £29 a night it was really good value, the rooms are hopefully in line for a refurb some time soon though. Bathroom very small you can't sit on the toilet without sitting on the toilet roll holder!! BUT bed was really comfortable, no noise from either the busy road or the busy restaurant attached. Food in the restaurant was good in the evening and the breakfast was superb. Staff really friendly and made you feel very welcome. Overall we gave it 8 out of 10 which for a room costing less than £60 for a 2 night stay is pretty good!!
