“No food at lunch tome”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

Went to the pub today 1.45 and was told could only have bar food, as we were ordering the chef shouted at the girl saying he would not take any orders as he was far too busy,as he had far too much to do. Wow a party of 25 in the separate room, if they can't cope with 1 party then god help anybody who books in.
Beware and think again.

“Always keen to please”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

We called here for lunch one day and only really wanted a light snack. The menu had either sandwiches or full meals so we raised this with our server who quickly put our concerns behind us - they were quite happy to prepare light meals and anything on the menu or anything in their kitchen could be considered - and we took up their challenge which they rose to and more than met our expectations.

“No bar food .... On Saturday lunchtime !!!?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

Just popped into this bar... Haven't been there for a long time and had 45 mins to grab a drink and a bite. Unbelievably the manager told me that they didn't serve bar food ( funny as the waitress said she would get the menu) and even more unhelpful as they had just served the only other people in the bar with a burger and chips. Obviously just couldn't be bothered which for 2.15pm on a Sat is frankly unacceptably poor service. Had to settle for a bag of crisps but at least can use their wifi to send this ! Manager even had cheek to recommend the chain pub down the road - obviously they must be doing very well to treat new customers in what is billed a restaurant/bar/brasserie in this way. Suspect it won't be too long before this place is under new management. Poor show and definitely won't be back when there are places like Boot and Orange tree locally which know something about customer service and lack of hospitality.

“A Special Meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

Over the years have visited the then Oak now The Warwick. The place has improved radically. The food is absolutely brilliant. Each dish is served to look mouth watering. Overall very good indeed, though a little pricey. But you pay for the quality. Will be back again.
