My first visit here was for an afternoon out with a friend. The park was easy to find, with ample parking and friendly staff in the visitors centre. There were plenty of birds to see - and feed! - alongside various butterflies, dragonflies and even otters! We thoroughly enjoyed walking around the park and seeing the flamingo and otter talks at feeding time before venturing to the cafe for some food. The only downside here would be that the tea mugs were a bit scruffy and some of the food was a bit overpriced....the lady even told me I might want to check the price of the flapjack which I had picked up before I bought it! Sure enough, I put it right back where I found it when I saw it was so expensive! Despite this I will no doubt return to the park again soon...though perhaps this time with a picnic!
