We travelled up from the North West and after a long drive, the hospitality offered by Duncan was exeptional. As a large family, the two rooms we had were extremly large and everyone fitted comfortably. The facilities in the rooms were all of a great standard and the bedding smelt lovely! Bathoom facilities were shared but not too far from were our rooms were situated and the shower gave a refreshing cleanse - no drip drip shower hose, thank god!

Breakfast was delicious and we were all served promptly. The kids loved the banter offered by Duncan and he also kept their giddiness under wraps!

Great time spent there and would definitely go again! x

A genuine down to earth guy so friendly with a great sense of humour, the guest house was fairly basic but had everything that you need.
There are shared bathrooms but with the best shower found in any guest house or hotel for this price.

A good comfortable bed and topped with a fantastic breakfast highly recommended great value for money ten out of ten will be returning when we go up North again in April.

Great, close to town. Duncan is a gent, very welcoming. PLace is spotless.

This is a great bed and breakfast.It is well run by Duncan.He is a nice guy who will help you with all your needs.The place is clean and comfortable.However i did have a few problems.
The rooms are not ensuite.The hotel is directly on a busy road.(The building is double glazed.)It is 100 yards from the town hall.This has an open bell tower which rings every hour and i do mean every hour day and night.The traffic was busy.I thought i might get a quiet Sunday morning but no a chap drove past in a council road sweeper at 6am!
To sum up this is a good b&b but a bit noisey.
