“Saqui Tandoori, from a pleasant Bangladeshi family.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

I have lived in the Kingston-upon-Thames region for some time now, and have always noticed this small Bangladeshi owned restaurant, which has been open for nearly ~30 years. I have always loved Indian food but a friend recommended this quaint restaurant. The welcoming vibe of the friendly staff only contributed to the delicious food I consumed, the waiters were helpful and polite. I especially recommend the Tandoori chicken and Shifquat Balti! Will definitely become a regular at this place!!

“Family bangladesh resturant; nice surprise”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2011

We had a pleasent surprise, since we're convinced to eat indian food, while we discovered they were from Bangladesh near to India but sligtly different.
Small place better to book in advance over the week end, nice and friendly people deserving customer in a best way possible. Planty of advise and explanations if you needed or not specialized about oriental food.
We had spyce but not HOT dishes, based on thin bread (arabic one) with nice sauces, curry in evry way, tandoori grilled chiken and others plates difficult to remember.
We had japaneese beer as apetizer and a glass of red wine with main courses.
Nice suprise about new bangladesh cusine.
