I have known this restaurant for many years, under several reincarnations. Being a rather compact establishment, the table spacing is still a little less than generous, and therefore the noise level was a bit high for easy conversation, but hey, isn't that better than sitting in dead silence?
Tonight I had one of the best Indian meals for years. I normally opt for hot, but this time had the Lamb Tikka and the Princess Cottage Exotica, .... "Succulent pieces of chicken cooked in a delightful sauce of coconut, mango, pineapple and bananas to produce a fruity dish which is not too sweet" .......... and it was amazing.
The younger waiter we had was very attentive and easy to talk to, but I thought the manager a bit offhand. (perhaps nervous or worried?) It didn't cause a problem, and I'll definitely go back again soon.
