This is our first time at one and have to say it exceeded our expectations, clean beds comfortable beds, great shower, just the heat in the rooms and air flow. I travelled with my three children and we had enough room, what can anyone expect for about £10 a head.
Spare pillows and towels, I have stayed in 4 star hotels that aren't this good. We will go back and by then hopefully they will have sorted the airflow in the rooms.
Great breakfast, fruits of the forest with yeo valley yoghurt, choice of breads and crumpets. Full cooked breakfast, nice bacon and decent sausages. And it is genuinely £8.25 and kids eat free.
Poppy the Manager kept us in iced water as our room was baking. The waiting staff were so helpful and Andrew made us all laugh. The menu is basic but well cooked and well presented. We were a large group 4 adults and 8 children they looked after us very well.
I snatched this from another review it is true, but the reception gave us a fan, the bar kept us in ice but it was really hard to sleep. (Sam was particularly helpful)
I didn't realise that the windows at all Premier Inns are restricted and have an additional fly screen outside. We tried the door ajar and we couldn't get a breeze and the temperature went up to 28 degrees overnight which made for an uncomfortable night.
We left our phone chargers in the room hoping they will be returned.
It is 10 miles to Alton Towers and convenient for the motorway.
