This is an outdoor karting track.
When we went, the day was sunny and dry. That all changed as soon as we got on the track and did about 5 laps.. Typical English weather, it started to rain very heavily during our time on the track. Racing a kart on a race track with slick tyres on was very interesting and took a lot of skill to avoiding spinning all the time. Obviously this was a skill neither of us had quite mastered during the time we were on the track. However, it was an interesting experience mastering it.
The karting place does supply waterproof overalls for when it rains, however as it was dry when we started we had the normal overalls on, so by the time we finished out race we were wet through to the skin.....everywhere!!!
Great time, and would like to do it again....during the dry!
