I made a late booking for myself and my dog over the phone. I couldn't believe how helpful and lovely both Peter and Pearl were. I was put in the best room with my dog which was amazing as usually the rooms where dogs are welcomed are not usually quiet as good!
The room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and the shower was good. The full english breakfast was great. The Garden house bed and breakfast was good value for money and a luxurious standard. I certainly would stop again.

The whole experience of staying here was excellent. The room was lovely and very well equipped, even though the dog was welcome aswell as some places you stay give you a sub standard room when you have a dog this was not the case here as I think we had the best room with a four poster bed. Peter and pearl are very welcoming and make you feel like one of the family especially as all the guests have breakfast together around their breakfast table. Lovely walks and pubs nearby.

We stayed 2 nights b.b recently which was excellent, our hosts peter and pearl are lovely people perfect hosts who make you feel like it's home from home, the little extra's like the chocolates in our room, biscuits on the pillows and the toiletries in the bathroom are nice treats , the rooms are tastfully decorated and very very clean also the use of the lounge you can use is brilliant many thanks for a lovely stay

We stayed at the Garden House during the Summer whilst visiting family nearby and Alton Towers. The family room more than adequately housed 2 adults and 2 children. My sister and son also stayed at the B&B in other rooms. After a long weary day at Alton Towers we were all able to relax in the lounge watching a DVD and eat a take-away meal. It really felt like home and the owner Peter made us feel very comfortable and at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were superb with lots of choice and cooked to order too! Would definitely visit again if we were in the area and also recommend to others.
