“Good food and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This will be about the 5th time I have eaten at Jee Ja Jee's and as always it was very good. The guys are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. The quality of the food is really good and the service is very attentive. They always organise a taxi back to the hotel and even though we were late eating they never rush you. I had the Chilli Chicken which was superb and the nan bread is always good.

“Great restaurant to dine.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

I can't beleive the comments and rating about jeejajees. I have been to jeejajees many times, with friends and family. We have enjoyed it every time. Service has always been great. Excellent food. We have used their takeaway services too, and not been disappointed yet.

“Absolutely brilliant. dont belive the bad reviews!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

i was amazed when i looked on here and seen that this resturant had such a poor rating on here.
we hadnt been to this resturant before until around 6 months ago when we went with our friends, it is now our 1st choice curry house in burton, since we have been 4 times with various different people and every single person has enjoyed it, actually, loved it.

it is abit more expensive than other curry houses in burton but the service and quality of food makes it definately worth it. the decor and atmosphere is also a major plus.

Superb resturant take it from me!

“Basic curry - overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

Basic curry offering, meat not very good quality (water injected rubbery chicken, tough lamb), spices firey but lack variation and finesse. Not bad decor and service pretty good but essentially a basic, no frills curry experience at super premuim prices considering the location. Expect to pay £40 per head minimum with a couple of Cobras and £50 per head with wine. Too much guys.....

“Avoid”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

I went here based on reviews. What a mistake.

I had mushroom bajii to start which looked like it had been bought from a cheap frozen food store. To be honest it tasted like it as well. Had a chicken dansak with a naan bread for mains. The naan felt and tasted like it had been deep fried. The dansak had NO taste to it. No flavour and very bland like they forgot to add spices. I do not like hot curries but this had nothing. My wife who can just about eat a korma temperature wise tasted it and said the same. It took 15 minutes for the bill to arrive when asked- there were less than 10 people in the place. After another 10 minutes waiting to pay I had to go to the bar to sit out the bill. First time review but people have to know.

Save your money and go elsewhere
