“Lovely hotel - had a very comfortable stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2011

This is a really nice B&B - reasonably priced, well situated for Burton and the surrounding area. The room was comfortable, peaceful and well-equipped, and the owners were very accommodating when we needed to get away quite early in the morning. I will be recommending this hotel to my colleagues.

Stayed for one night and have to say it was far better than one of the chain hotels like travelodge or premier inn. The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. Comfortable bed as well. Very nice breakfast the following day - good selection of cereal and fruit, with hot food cooked to order. I'll definitely stay again when next in the area.

Surprised there aren't more reviews. Really very tasteful and well-appointed. Little gem. Beautiful rooms, only tiny drawback was that the shower plughole was a little blocked. Otherwise perfect and would DEFINITELY stay again :) Loved the library!

This is a little gem of a hotel. Friendly but professional service, comfortable well equipped bedrooms, excellent fresh breakfast. We loved the turn-of-the-century public rooms with the stained glass windows and oak panelling.
