Stayed over Halloween with 2 children. Great rooms and fab hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Didn't hear a sound even though there were quite a few kids staying. Breakfast was divine and set us up for the day for Alton Towers which was so handy to the Malthouse. Ate first night in White Hart great food at very reasonable prices and great craic with fab staff. Second night we ate in The Royal Oak which was just down the street, real olde worlde with great home cooking and hospitality. All in all great place to visit and stay will certainly stay again thanks !
