“A fantastic find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2010

We found this great B & B online after searching from our home in New Zealand. Our hosts were extremely helpful giving us great information and advice on the local area. The rooms are great, having lovely comfortable beds with spotless bathrooms. We would definitely stay again.

“The best B&B in watchet”

The Ivy House B&B is with out doubt the best B&B in watchet, Mr & Mrs Daley made our stay very welcoming and homely as anyone could.
The rooms were spotless, large, and very comfortable with a luxurius Bathroom and very comfortable beds and crisp cotton sheets, the breakfast was fantastic with as much as you want, and all fresh local produce, Mrs Daley could not do enough for you to make your stay a delight, and with her local knowlege of the local restaurants and pubs we were put in the right direction of the best eating plces in watchet. Watchet it self is a very lovely place to unwind .and with the steam railway just over the road from the ivy house its very handy to visit around the area on the old steam trains.
when ever we come back to watchet in the future for a break, there is only one place for us and thats The Ivy House. Jim & Carol Cruise Birmingham.

“Charming, friendly and warm”

Having grown up in Somerset I wanted to take my partner there to experience it for herself after spending a lot of time travelling around other parts of the UK. Watchet is the quintessential Somerset fishing town, beautifully charming with warm local ales, even warmer locals and great seafood. The Ivy House was the perfect place to stay; spacious, friendly and reasonably priced. The owner, Lynda was always happy to assist us in finding the best things to do and to get a local flavour + we were served up a cracking breakfast too! Would recommend it to anyone and have been to friends & family already.

“A perfect home from home”

We went to Watchet in order to view some properties with the intention of moving there.

This B&B is the best advert the town could possibly have. The owners are the most welcoming couple it has been my pleasure to meet in 30 years of travelling.

The rooms are spacious, spotless, and so comfortable I would defy anyone not to be able to relax here.

Breakfast is superb and cooked to order.

Lynda is a mine of information about the local area.

If you want to holiday in Somerset and avoid the tackiness of Minehead then this is the perfect location.
