“sunday carvery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

This is THE sunday carvery.Three meats and a wonderfull selection of hot vegetables to help yourself.I have never had so much meat on my plate!!I loved it!! There are childrens portions as well.At the rear is a perfect level field for camping at a very reasonable price.
The owners and staff are the most friendly and helpfull people in Somerset!!
If you dont go there you only have yourself to blame

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

What a lovely place to visit. Family run pub with lovely food and lots of space out the back for camping with a children's play area. Definitely worth a visit. Have been back many a times. Good prices with great service and very clean. Your made to feel very welcome.Oh and the carvery on a Sunday is to die for :) but book to avoid missing out.

“Well worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

We have now visited here on about 6 occasions . There is always a selection of meals starting at £5 so choosing one of those we have been very happy with the quality freshly cooked ingredients . There is an area set aside for eating away from the pub dog . There is a large area at the back of the pub for campers and caravaners and also a shop supplying the usual range of produce .

The main reason for returning is this is one of the friendliest pubs we have visited . Full marks to the Landlord and Landlady and family and best wishes for the future.

“nice but not special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

Sandwiches reasonable price but very thin bread, nachos not crisps! Meals rather pricy. Definatley a locals pub although very pleasent lounge, not worth a second visit

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

We stopped for lunch; we saw the signs outside, which offered good value meals. The menu was different, and eventually decided on a baguette, with crisps and salad. (It was a quick lunch we wanted) The baguette came out as a piece of French stick, with a very small amount of tuna inside; the crisps were tortillas, not what we had ordered. We were going to have a coffee, but the room was so cold, we were actually shivering,
