my partner and I spent 3 wonderful nights at Three Acres. The bedrooms and bathrooms are excellent and spotless. Large bed with lovely crisp white bed linen. Lovely large white soft towels in the bathroom and toiletries from the White Company.
Edward and Julie are wonderful hosts. Breakfasts just amazing, really delicious.
Would not hesitate going again.

I would just like to echo the thoughts of an number of other guests who have had a great experience at Three Acres Country House. Everything you could with for and more, highlight are the en suit bathrooms and the amazing breakfast. Everything has been thought of down to the hand dated fresh milk left in the mini bar!. If I was planning on visiting anywhere within 20 miles of Three Acres I wouldn’t hesitate to re book.

We returned to the Three Acres Country House again this month and were pleased to see that the standard has not changed. The whole of the hotel is absolutely spotless and the hosts cannot do enough for you. Breakfasts are still superb and we look forward to returning again.

We recommended this accommodation to two other couples who thoroughly enjoyed their stays.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend while visiting friends and attending a party. The hosts advised us on places to go for a day out, lent us wellies as we weren't prepared for the wet weather and even waited up for us when we came home late at night to ensure we arrived back safely.
Breakfasts were great, even the small touches of the day's weather forecast being printed each morning on the menu were the touches that make this place so special, charming and welcoming.
Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to explore the Exmoor area and North Devon coast.
Lovely room, clean, spacious, well appointed and lovely decorated.

Highly recommended!

Service: exceptional. a warm welcome followed by tea and biscuits. Advice regarding the area was very good. The hosts are very relaxed in their demeanour but at the same time will cater for your every need!

Room: lovely. Huge room with lots of light coming through the windows. The bed was massive, bathroom included a bath and shower. I wish my bedroom at home was like this.

The House: delightful. The setting and character of the house both outside and in was exactly what we were looking for from our relaxing holiday.

Cleanliness: the place is spotless.

Breakfast: 10/10. Have stayed in a number of high end B&Bs and the breakfast is always good... but this was better than any of them.

From the beautiful location to the breakfast filled with wonderful local products and a daily special, to the gentle help generously given when asked, easy conversation, and relaxed chats in the bar over lovely local beer, all was beyond what we could have hoped for. Julie and Ed give a truly heart-warming welcome which continues throughout the stay. I cannot find anything to say 'but' about.
