“A Quality Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2012

The restaurant is hidden away but well worth the visit. The welcome from the staff was warm and friendly, with a professional approach. The restaurant was presented with a very pleasant decor and a very clean and smart appearance, with plenty of space. The food was just excellent, the standard we were expecting from this highly recommended restaurant. We will defiantly be visiting again.

“Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2012

The Food and Service were amazing! We were visiting to celebrate my friends wedding. There were 40 of us that went for a meal.

“One not to miss.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2012

This is a great setting, a converted barn on a working farm. A very sociable but not in your face owner/farmers wife who runs the restaurant and a chef who delivers very good food. Sue, the owner made us feel very welcome and although she hadn't laid the tables or updated the menu it really didnt matter. There is some great art on the walls and the whole place feels personable. Given that it was January it was a little empty so wasn't a buzzy place. However the food was great, a very tasty rib eyed steak and the best tasting swede I have ever had (and I don't like swede that much). The wines were of a good standard (we had a taxi there!) Although the portions are good I had to have a dessert and that didnt disappoint, we even had a complimentary dessert wine and knowing we are wine lovers Sue has emailed me details about a place they stayed in Italy. Pity we couldn't see the surrounding country side which looked wonderful on their website. Hope to go back in the summer. Would recommend for a meal or a wedding reception.

“THE place for a celebration!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2012

We love this place hidden up on the Quantocks. Set on a working farm it is a real treasure. The food is all local and served with imagination. Tastes divine and worthy of its fairly high price ticket. Worth every penny though if you have something to celebrate. We will keep coming back for more!
