Four of us went to eat here on the 25/08/2011 to celerbrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. The service was first class from start to finish. The meal was lovely. Will be back soon.

“Lovely food and service excellent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

The menu was quite varied, i had a goats cheese and sun blush tomato spring roll to start, husband had pickled mackrel. Mains were Salmon for me and Steak for my husband. He said the steak was cooked perfectly and my salmon was also very good. Desserts were even nicer with Sticky toffee pudding and a cheese board. The meal with wine for two was around 78 pounds. We thought well worth it.

“Nice location and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We moored up here overnight while on a four day narrowboat cruise and decided to have a meal. The interior is very nice and service was good although quiet we had to ask when our drinks order would arrive. The food was nicely presented and of good quality although quiet pricey. It is obviously very popular as we left at about 8pm on a Sunday evening it was really getting quite busy. If on a narrowboat it is worth a visit if not for a meal maybe just a drink over the moorings which are provided free by the hotel.

Five star service in a four star complex. 2 fantastic rooms with canalside balconies. Good, wholesome food and brilliant pool etc.
Looking forwards to another stay in September.
