“Great Breakfast and Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

Thanks for a lovely breakfast over 3 mornings especially to Pam and Kerry they made a great team. The food was served hot and well presented, just what you need in the mornings to start your day. Don't read some of the comments made try it for yourself, we had service and food as we like it prepared, tea and coffee were fine not dish-watery at all. We have visited this unit since its opening in 1986 it is still as good as then except the staff are grossly overworked at busy times with 2 or 3 on duty. Thanks you both for great service cant wait for our return later this year, Little Chef has struggled in the past but is now on the up again, sadly only 78 left lets hope they reopen more units over time

“Wouldn't bother going again”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

We have dined here 3 times in total we always make an effort to go here for breakfast on our way down south on holidays so we had planned to go here on our last trip down south. We were quite disappointed on our last trip it wasn't very clean and it took quite a while for them to come and take our order. Whilst the food is fine the prices are too high, just over £21 for breakfasts for 4 (bearing in mind one was simply toast for my 3 year old and beans on toast for my 12 year old) I think nowadays that is too much. We won't be bothering to go again

“Average”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

We got in just before 9pm and were luckily served.

Little Chefs are not famed for fine cuisine but you do get a pretty good meal, reasonably quickly but at a price higher than it deserves.

I do have a soft spot for the Chef brand, but now more and more pubs are offering good, near excellent, quality food for less than what little chef charges or with bigger portions.

I had ham & eggs & my wife had Hunters chicken. We had a latte each and the bill was a shade over £17.00.

Place was clean, food & staff were good.

Unless you want a burger king or prepared to drive into Oswestry then this is going to be your dining option at Travelodge Oswestry.....don't expect anything special,

“Good grub, not enough staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

The menu is great, it's a shame they're dying out but there were too many customers and not enough staff so tables were uncleaned and we took a while to get our food

“I would rather starve”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

Went here while my wife was having surgery, took 2 year old for breakfast. Whole place needed a good clean and redecorate, food was overpriced and disgusting. Coffee tasted like dishwater, sausages had been previously cooked and then microwaved into some kind of rubber clone of a sausage.

Left most of food, would never go back!
