Went to The Queens Head with friends for lunch, there is a good choice of sandwiches ( I had a salmon and dill baguette with salad and chips which was £6.45 - it was a generous potion with homemande coleslaw - very nice. My friends had different baguettes - bacon, chicken & melted cheese - also nice. There was also a good choice of pub food and pizzas. We had to wait a while for our food as they were busy but it was worth the wait.
The pub has a nice if somewhat warm conservatory and is next to the canal where you can watch the odd barge go by. Big car park.
