“exellent, the best this holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2011

I found Old Quarry Cottage on line while looking for somewhere to stay near Ironbribge. The house is somewhat off the beaten track, but worth the journey.Room 1 was superb, with a nice bathroom, and the breakfast was as good as it gets ,our hosts were great and gave us lots of advice on what to see in the area. There is an exellent restaurant within walking distance, but a bit pricey. There is a very steep drive up to the house, and not much room to park or turn round.I parked at the bottom of the drive to avoid "The door smack" All in all this was by far the best of the three B&B's we stayed at this holiday, and the cheapest!

Only just got round to reviewing my B and B's from my LEJOG cycling trip last summer!

After a good days cycling, all I wanted to do was dry my clothes out and have a cup of tea. Thankfully, my hosts were more than helpful, drying my clothes out on the aga and providing me and my travelling companion with tea and cake. They really know how to treat their guests! The breakfast was brilliant, and I have nothing but good things to say about this B and B. Hope to visit again some day!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Old Quarry Cottage self contained apartment. Everything was there and even freshly baked scones on arrival - a wonderful welcome. The accommodation was modern, clean and plentiful in its entirety. Breakfast was taken in the conservatory in the cottage looking out at the garden. We were asked the evening before on what we would like for breakfast and we were not disappointed as the food was delicious.
This accommodation is highly recommended.

The Webbs go out of their way to make their guests feel at home, and the pretty cottage is well cared for, with a lovely garden, and the first floor room very comfortable and spacious, attractively decorated in blue and white. Excellent breakfasts in the conservatory. A small quibble - the shower room is very small, not surprising given the small size of the cottage, and you are in serious danger of getting scalded if anybody else is drawing water while you are having a shower! Very comfortable and quiet location, and lots of charming extras such as fresh flowers in the bedroom, pretty china and so on. Highly recommended.

We have stayed here many times and cannot recommend it enough. Tricia and Tony are wonderful hosts and the accommodation is second to none. Both the two rooms and the Coach House are very tastefully furnished with every detail catered for. Breakfast is fresh and deliciouse with a selection of jams and preserves mostly home made. Breakfast is served in the conservatory which overlooks the garden - lovely.

This is the perfect base to visit the wonderful Ironbridge museums, Much Wenlock and with Wenlock Edge and the Long Mynd next door - a walkers paradise.

What a wonderful place to stay - we can't wait until our next visit.
