We were invited for a birthday party, but when we arrived we were told that our son could go in but if myself, my husband and a breastfeeding baby wanted to go in with him we had to pay nearly £20! We complained about it at the time but felt we had to go in to supervise our son at the party. When we got home, I wrote a letter to the manager asking for a refund because I felt so strongly that parents shouldn't have to pay to supervise their children, let alone paying for a breastfeeding baby! The manager never even had the common courtesy to reply to me, so needless to say they were happy to take my money and didn't care that I was not happy about it. All the other parents at the party felt robbed too, and it turned the whole party a bit sour. We didn't want to upset the party host as she had gone to a lot of effort, but it was a nasty shock to be told we had to pay £20 just to take our son to his friends party. The most disgusting bit was that the manager didn't even reply to my letter. I feel appalled my the place and would beg people not to give these greedy people a penny of your hard earned money. They are extortionate and unethical.
