“Great seven course lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2014

It has been a longtime since I have eaten at the Crazy Bear. The interior always makes me smile; cream button backed padded leather covered walls, pink leather chairs and low slung chandeliers. Kitsch, yes but tasteful in an upmarket bordello style!
The food was lovely, great flavours and although seven courses sounds a lot, the portions were not large. The waiter was friendly and helpful, providing very good service. It was a very enjoyable experience.

“Fantastic Sunday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2014

My boyfriend had booked this as a bday treat on a Sunday with my parents. When we got there I thought the service was awful as they had lost our booking and were seating us on a table of 4 with other people, little did I know it was all a trick and my parents were those other people. Pierre acted it out fantastically and my partner hadn't even arranged it. The cocktails were lovely as always within the Crazy Bear group, starters were good but not amazing the roasts were lovely though and we all said one of the best we had, had at a restaurant as we are all food snobs and prefer our home cooked roasts. The service, especially Pierre was absolutely spot on. The whole experience was a lot better than the Beaconsfield branch the décor was lovely and the fairy lit heated garden set it all off perfectly. We had to move to the bar for dessert as they had another table in which was actually quite nice and they gave us champers on the house for the trouble.

“Crazy Bear Stadhampton”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2014

We have been coming to the Crazy Bear in Stadhampton for many years and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. Yesterday we had a sirloin steak and the burger, both of which were superb. If I have one criticism it would be that service was a little erratic but as we weren't in a rush I really don't mind. The main bar area is quirky but displays good taste and style.

“Let down !!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2014

We recently went for our 16th wedding anniversary, our meal was excellent , and the service in the restaurant was first class , but was so disappointed with our room, don't stay in room 12. You get the constant noise of the kitchen fan in your room, we where told the kitchen would turn this off at 11 pm, we arrived at 4pm, the fan was loud and off putting , we also had cooking smells from the kitchen coming into our room . We will not be returning .
