We arrived at Kingham, bluewood Lodges to celebrate our 2nd honeymoon after just renewing our wedding vows. We were not dissapointed.
The area itself is very romantic, especially on a cold winters day. The Lodge itself (we had a 6 berth) was comfortable and warm. The master bedroom was a double (we did expect a king, but was ok) the other 2 rooms were twin.
We did have a few niggles when we arrived but these were dorted out within the day and the management left us a bottle of wine as an apology. (Very much appreciated!)
The hot-tub was as we expected, relaxing. Not as private as other places we have stayed, but didnt feel we were being looked over all the same).
Its only a 10 min drive to Stow on the wold. 30 mins to Stratford upon Avon.
The only down side, very small complaint, if the lodge is for 6 they only provided 2 small saucepans (not enough to even cook Pasta) A small complaint, considering the rest of the lodge is beautiful, we will probably book again.
Thank-you for a very memorable & enjoyable stay!
