Whilst stopping at the nearby Bluewood Lodges we ventured in to Kingham for some lunch and chose The Kingham Plough after reading about it.
As there aren't many tables in the bar area for busier days such as Sunday lunch its probably advisable to book. As it was we got a table within ten mins on Saturday lunch time and had great fun watching the many dogs that were allowed in.
We opted to share some of the local bread, triple cooked chips and onion rings which were all nice. Feeling a little peckish I also had the locally handraised pork pie which was also very good.
