“Unique”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

It is simply a unique experience with views across a vast swathe of Oxfordshire and Wiltshire (and possibly other counties, too). It is quirky and was the last major folly built in England. The people who run the folly trust are most accommodating and will arrange just about anything within reason.

“Nice little jaunt away from town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

A good way to have a short leg stretch up from Faringdon town - not a huge amount there, but the views are very worthwhile!

“Lovely and original.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

Best traditional pub around, not one of your newfangled plastic ones. Sit and have a quiet pint, then have a walk up the nearby mount, to see the Folly itself.

“Celebrating our local heritage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

Well worth the climb, amazing views on a great day, excellent information on the history of the folly, great to drag the kids up and get them away from the ipods and laptops for a couple of hours. A great job treasuring and restoring some our local heritage, well done the folly trust team.....

“Lovely walk in Faringdon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

Really nice for a stroll, good views and several benches. If you're visiting on the first Sunday of the month, do make sure you go up the Folly - great views from the top.
