“Winter Break At Seahouses”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

Just got back from another winter break at the Links hotel Seahouses. This time we took two of our friends along to enjoy a break with us.I must say that they where very impressed, every thing was first class from the food to the rooms. The staff really seem to go out of their way to be friendly and polite and nothing is to much trouble for them.
We all had a relaxing break and there is six of us now going back for a break on New Years Eve, so we are all really looking forward to that. we must remember not to eat and drink too much the night before to leave room for the massive breakfast that is served at your table in the morning. Well done everyone at the Links.
Michael and Annie

My friend and I stayed at the Links for one night on the Winter Special break. Our room was immaculately clean, comfortable and had all the essentials for a hotel stay eg toiletries, hospitality tray, fluffy towels. Most important were the friendly efficient yet professional staff. Our stay just happened to be on a Wednesday night so the dinner bed and breakfast deal coincided with the Steak night which included a bottle of wine and two 10oz Ribeye for £20 . We were able to have this meal as part of our Winter break. The ribeye steaks were delicious, cooked exactly to order..........medium, with a really good choice of potatoes [ you must try the dauphinois] and tasty fresh vegetables. Breakfast which was ordered the previous night from a good selection was enormous, well cooked and extremely tasty. Perhaps next time we will ask for small portions!! I would not hesitate to return to this hotel not only because it gives excellent value for money but because it has an extensive menu and serves good quality food.

Called in here to watch Newcastle match on a Thursday night, big mix of people and quite a few locals but very nice bar staff and pints of Stella just 2.95 which is a great price. Lots of screens showing football if that's your thing, didn't eat here but have heard its very good, would defo visit again if I'm in the area. It's quite a quirky place which I like.

Such a cosy warm hotel and the food is really good. Very clean and tidy hotel facilities immaculate.
Special dinner bed and breakfast deal is such a bargain at weekends. Fresh Seahouses Kipper breakfast to die for!
Back again July for another bargain weekend.
Can really recommend a stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Stopped in all of the rooms they are all very clean and comfortable.

Visited the Links Hotel whilst up in Seahouses for half term. Saw an advert outside the Links Hotel for an offer for 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £20 on Wednesday nights. Booked for the following Wednesday and glad we did as the restaurant was full. The steaks were the nicest we had had in a long time and came with a variety of potatoes and veg. I had potato dauphinois which was delicious and my husband had a massive bowl of chips with his. The red wine included in the meal was very good as well. All in all we had a fantastic meal and would certainly recommend it to anyone who is in the area on a Wednesday night.
