“Fantastic stay, staff, sleep....perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

We stayed here overnight on the dinner, B & B special (£100) what a bargain! From the bar staff to the cleaners, the waitresses & reception staff, all very friendly and welcoming. The Guinness was top notch, the fire raging (as was the sea) to warm you up and a friendly smile and a story or two from the locals. Evening meals excellent, comfy bed, and a welcome sunshine to wake to shining into or room (4). A good hearty breakfast to start the day too.
We will be back for more, you can bet
Keep it up, no wonder your always fully booked

“Nice pint and Friendly atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

For a small village pub it was very welcoming. The staff were on the ball and attentive. Perfect pint of IPA followed by a shot of Alnwick rum was lovely before a walk around the harbour. Super! Thanks :-)

“Great place "a Popeyes paradise"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013 via mobile

Just popped in for a drink and a snack staff were great and the decor is brilliant all sailing and fishing bits and pieces, Guiness was top notch. There's a hidden beer garden round the back with a little conservatory which you can sit in during the winter. We didn't realise this is also a hotel so we are going to book in next time we go up to Seahouses.

“A step back in time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Cosy and intimate, selling real ales and local produce, this little gem is jam packed with shipping memorabilia, a real fire and fantastic staff. No matter how busy in the season, you will be served quickly and with a smile. A great place to relax after a coastal walk or visit to the picturesque harbour in Seahouses.
