“A fabulous short break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

We arrived to a very warm welcome
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy. The room was set out with lovely bed linen and was very welcoming.
The breakfast was fabulous superb cooking!
And the owner went out of their way to help us while we stayed as we didn't know the area, he gave us tips and even offered to pick us up if we went out into town for a meal, extremely friendly. I will definitely go back and would not hesitate in recommending it to my friends

Its our second visit to the Regal House in Seahouses, its a fantastic place to stay as a base to explore the beautiful Northumberland coast.
The hospitality of the hosts ,the enormous breakfasts and that home from home feeling certainly make your stay a very pleasant experience.
We booked for the second time this November and we were certainly not disappointed.
Thanks for a great break ,no matter what the weather you always receive a warm welcome.

Room Tip: We chose the front King size room its quiet ,light and very comfortable

It's unusual for me to write a review, generally if things are either really bad or outstanding, here I am pleased to say it is the latter. Julie and Terry are excellent hosts who really go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome. I was not very well when staying here and the attention I received certainly helped me to carry on, including breakfast in bed one day! Terry is a gentle giant who offered to ferry us to and from local restaurants so that we could relax and enjoy our night - wow!
Cleanliness was fantastic. Great breakfast, Great place, great people, please don't ever change guys!

Room Tip: Terry showed us their new annex, of which he is very proud! It would be an excellent place for a bre...

We have just returned from a three night break. (3 nights for price of 2) the weather was fantastic not a cloud in the sky. We booked the kingsize bedroom which is at the front of the house. The bedroom was very nice and the bed very comfy and The bathroom had a massive shower unit . Our room contained all the usual things like coffee making facilities/biscuits but had lots of extras that some places don't provide in the rooms ie bottle of water, packet of tissues, full sewing set, books,DVDs, Julie was always ready with a fresh jug of milk each time we came back. The dining/lounge area was very nice. The breakfast was perfect it really set you up for the day. The walk down to sea houses sea front was about 15 mins but as the weather was so nice we walked both ways each evening. The village has lots of resteraunts/cafes and a few shops. There are lots of boat trips available from the port. And some fantastic walks along the coast. We will recommend regal house as its lovely and Julie is a great host.

Room Tip: All rooms look very nice. But recently they have converted the double garage into a suite which look...

We found this trip away a perfect family experience, Julie and Terry were very helpful and terrific hosts. Regal House was a beautiful home from home which we would deffinitely reccomend to our friends and family ( which we already have ) It was difficult for us to see the sorrounding towns of Seahouses such as; Beadnell and Bambourgh as we didnt have a vehicle however Julie and Terry offered to drive us to these places and pick us up they even dropped us off at the train station on our way home. We give top marks for everything and im sure it won't be long until were back.

Excellent Value winter break (3 nights B and B £140 per couple.) Super friendly hosts, more than comfortable accommodation and a superb breakfast what more could you want. Excellent walks nearby and the scenery isn't bad either.

Good restaurants, reasonably priced, within 10 minutes walk. A great break, home from home.
