“Gorgeous Afternoon Tea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

Went for afternoon tea for a friends birthday and was very impressed.
Lovely choice, gorgeous scones and cakes and unlimited tea and coffee. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful, will definitely go back.

“A bit slow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

Went here for Sunday lunch. Two of us has Ingram Valley lamb shank, it just fell off the bone. My hubby had Wallington Hall beef which he said was lovely. My Mam and myself had lemon posset, delicious. Northumbrian cheese and biscuits were ordered by my hubby. Followed by coffee and petit fours, which was pure greed! All the food was just what you expect at Eshott Hall. We did think the service was a bit slow, the table was booked for 1.30, so the rush must have been over by then. All the staff were very nice. It was a lovely day when we went and the grounds were beautiful.

“Wonderful birthday lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

An excellent sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. Tasty home produced veg, superbly cooked local meat ,pleasantly presented and accompanied by a delightful wine. This Hall has lots of character with elegant sophistication and without pretension.A very comfortable drawing room for after meal coffee and relaxation. The staff provided a very efficient ,friendly service.
The grounds provide a pleasant atmosphere of quiet seclusion in the middle of the Northumberland countryside not far(down a narrow lane)from the A1 between Morpeth and Alnwick.
