“A perfect coffee house”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

We hadn't expected to find a cafe of this level of sophistication on Lindisfarne. The ambience was lovely. The coffee, sandwiches, scones and cakes were all gorgeous. Just wonderful. Highly recommended.

“Delighted with the improvements”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

We visited Pilgrims, as we usually do o our trips to Holy Island, on the Bank Holiday Monday, and were delighted with the improvements. More cosy rooms opened up, more toilets and good quality eco friendly plates and cutlery, which certainly don't spoil the experience. The best cappuccinos we have tasted in a long time - so good we went back for seconds and thirds. Excellent range and quality of food and great service. We will definitely be back.

“Coffee time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Arranged over several floors it still remains a charming tea shop. Great cake selection and unusual savoury snacks. Good atmosphere. Space outside too for warmer days.

“Changed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Been a few times in the past, always been nice to sit in the
garden area for a coffee and cake. Disappointed this time as
serving coffee and tea in paper cups. Not what to expect for
the price in such a nice place to have a paper cup. So did not stay, went to café on the corner, proper cups and a good coffee
for much less that the Pilgrims Coffee House
