My wife and I have eaten here a couple of times. The garden and decked areas are a delight in the summer and the menu always has a surprise. Our visit in March '13 was no exception. They always explain the menu and that the food is all cooked to order, no microwaving. We had the box camembert sharing starter which was nice. For mains my other half had rib eye which was a bit too fatty. I had the venison, pidgeon and confit duck leg with roast vegatables which was superb. The restaurant is well run but because the Narrow Boat is a popular place and the food is cooked to order, dont expect fast food.. The pub decor is neat and tidy. The menu is varied but my only issue is that on both ocasions some items on the menu had run out. Well worth a visit.
