I'm not often prompted to write, but the Kettering Park surpassed my expectations. I booked a 'girls night in' package through the Hotel website, which included the nights accommodation, swimming, robes, tapas supper in room, ice cream and popcorn in room, breakfast, girly dvds to watch and goody bags with nail polish etc for £70pp.
YES it is by a motorway. But, once sitting by the pond on the green lawn out the back, you can easily forget the road is just next door. The decor is not your bland motel type, it felt like we were somewhere special as soon as we walked in, and from the beginning nothing was too much trouble- we asked for and were given a late check out for free, and the staff made things off-menu for us!
The food servings were so generous we struggled to finish them, and we felt thoroughly spoilt throughout. The waiting staff in particular were lovely.
Will definitely go again!

I organised our works Christmas Night Out which was being held at the hotel and stayed the night.

The room we had was lovely, spacious with a nicely appointed bathroom, although I did think the 3 phones in the room was a bit OTT.

The spa is great with a good range of equipment in the gym.

Breakfast was excellent although it did get very busy at about 9am, but there was coffee / tea facilities provided for those who had to wait for a table.

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for either a stay or the Christmas night out.

My husband and I stayed at this well-managed property two consecutive weekends while checking on the progress of our new build home. The property is in a convenient area - adjacent to the motorway, restaurants and shopping - yet quiet. Lovely decor, rooms are comfortable and of a nice standard, large indoor pool and solarium, and free parking. Breakfast in the restaurant is generous - fruit, yogurt, pastries, sausages, bacon, beans, scrambled eggs, poached eggs on crumpets, tomatoes, toast and more. They will also cook to order.

I now live in the UK, but have stayed at many hotels here for 12 years before relocating from California. The service and environment at Kettering Park Hotel and Spa is outstanding - and I do not utilize that word freely. The staff are genuinely friendly and any requests are addressed swiftly. The seasonal "Breaks" offered are a great value; they include dinner, bed, and breakfast for two persons. You may order anything from the restaurant or Room Service menu a la carte if you request to do so when you check in. The menu is not extensive, however, the food is delicious. A refrigerator is provided in the rooms, with mineral water and milk. The power showers are fantastic and the olive soap and other bath/personal products provided are a nice touch.

I highly recommend this hotel. My husband and I are looking forward to staying again next month prior to our move into our new house.

Stayed here for 4 nights while attending a course held in the hotel. Great rooms, more space than London hotels, very helpful staff who genuinely meant "good morning" when they said it and good quality food and snacks throughout the day. Did'nt go to the spa but fellow course members recommended the workout classes and the pool.

The gardens are also lovely to relax in.
