Went with friends after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. It's not the most enticing entrance, but once upstairs in the restaurant itself things are very different. I'm a vegetarian, but even I was impressed with the inventiveness of combining Indian spices with British game (pheasant, grouse, woodcock and so on) and with more exotic meats (kangaroo, camel, reindeer). My masala dosa was delicious, as was my baby aubergine baijan, and my friends were very pleased with theirs too. Service was sufficiently attentive, the restaurant was well maintained and it was fairly priced too. It's a very good restaurant and if I lived locally I'd be a regular.
