This restaurant is unusual: it can easily be missed because it is situated above a large shop. In its unassuming entrance, we were met by a broad, nicely carpeted staircase (a stair-lift is installed). At the top of the stairs, we were met by a friendly member of staff who shook us by the hand.
The menu is varied and imaginative; however, more traditional dishes are readily available. We both opted for a vindaloo. This was delicious, but we felt that it was the hottest vindaloo we had ever had.
We could not eat all of our food and, this was a first, the waiter offered to put the remainder in a plastic take-away container.
On leaving, our hands were heartily shaken again.
We will return!
