“Nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

My boyfriend and I had lunch here on a day trip to Robin Hood's bay. We had fish and chips which were very tasty, although the chip portions were a bit stingy! The staff were friendly and they let us in with our muddy boots. There were lovely looking cakes on the counter, it was a shame we were too full to try one!

“Great lunch spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

After driving up from London we went straight to Robin Hoods Bay. After walking around the pretty little village we stopped at Bramblewick for lunch. We both ordered paninis, my hubbie had his with cheesy chips and jalapeno chillis. After choosing our drinks, the waitress popped back to apologise for not having the beer of choice, but offered a very acceptable alternative. The food turned up quickly, hot & obviously freshly prepared with salad & chips on the side. No serviettes were brought with the food, but I collected them from the bar.The menu had good choice including soup, welcome for some on a cool autumn day.The room we ate in had great repeat reflections from the positioned mirrors and was cosy. It is obvious an old building with bags of character. I can imagine it gets packed in the summer. There are a few tables outside to enjoy the sun, but on our visit we were pleased to get out of the wind and into the warmth. No view of the sea from here but it's just a few steps away. Also inside to the left of the door was an area set up for dinner, must try it next visit. Great spot for lunch.

“Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

We have just spent the weekend in RHB and as it's coming to the end of the tourist season this and the other restaurant are only open Fri & Sat nights. We booked in here for Saturday, we booked in for 7 as there was a large party already booked in so no later time was available.
As you enter the restaurant we were in the small room to the left, it looked like they'd tried to squeeze a couple more tables in so it was cosy. The food was served quickly and was nice.
It lacked in atmosphere compared to our meal the previous evening at the Smugglers, and if I was to choose, then the Smugglers was better overall.
Really I wanted this rating to be 'Good' because it was better than average but not very good, however given the rating option, I've rounded up.

“Excellant restaurant experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

We have eaten at this restaurant 3 times now and each time have loved it as much as ever.

Very friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed and had an enjoyable meal.

The food is bloody lovely! Served fresh and delicious with not too long a wait, good selction of drinks and willing to make suggestions from these options.

I would recommend this place to anyone, good selection of food to meet anyones taste.

Thank you for another lovely meal
