“The most unique amazing wedding at the Victoria hotel rhb !!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

There arnt words to explain just how amazing and unique our wedding was on Friday July 5th 2013 !!!
This was all due to the outstanding hotel , location and most of all Andrew and his staff at the Victoria hotel ....
Thank you Andrew for making our day so special ... You and Gail are an outstanding couple who made the planning of the day so straightforward , and organised the day to run smoothly and perfectly !!!
Releasing the butterflies and the first dance in the gazebo was totally unique !!
I could fill the whole of tripadvisor with compliments for giving myself and Stuart a wedding to remember lol ....
Thank you Andrew , Gail and your team for making our day so special xxx

Our last stop on the C2C hike after 12 days and it was a welcome place to end. The hotel sits on a hill overlooking the town and the water at Robin Hoods Bay. We had a large room (#10) with a very comfortable king size 4 poster bed (alas, with a view of the inland hills rather than the North Sea, but still nice through the large windows). A good restaurant and a lively pub, with very friendly service. I would definitely return.

Stayed from 20th -22nd august for my partners birthday. On arrival we were given a complimentary bottle of bubbly, and Andrew made a special trip to obtain a lobster for my partners evening meal.
Stayed in room 6 this year with another fantastic sea view, and a view across the bay to Ravenscar.
Great evening meal, followed by some excellent ale in the bar afterwards. Drinks in the hotel are a lot cheaper than local pubs, and a good selection of ale on offer. we also had drinks outside in the lovely well kept garden with amazing views over the bay.
Buses to Scarborough and Whitby stop near the hotel and run every 30 mins in peak season, so I could have a break from driving. Did not want to return home and will definitely be making our 4th visit ASAP.

Room Tip: Stayed in 3 different sea view rooms, all good.

I have just returned from the Glorious Victoria Hotel having celebrated a big 60 birthday. I hesitate to share this experience as I would rather like to keep this place in my best secret's draw.
However in the spirit of the generous traveller I offer the following for your delictation and delight.
We arrived on Friday ( my birthday) Our room was room 2. With a glorious view of the great bay. The balcony afforded panoramic views of this uniique and treasured coastline. The room itself equiped with King size, bed chaise lounge had been tastefully enhanced with reminders of my age!! Thanks to my dear friends John and Clare aided by my darling wife Dee
The food in this establishment is locally sourced and first rate. Fresh fish, divine shell food and steaks to die for.
The Sea View Dining room is blissful affording a view of the coast and landscape which absorbs a lot of looking!!
All the staff are delightful from reception to farewell. Andrew and his team leave no stone unturned to give you a great experience throughout your stay.
I must mention our duty manager Ryan (AKA Billy Whiz) who couldn't do enough for us. It was a great touch to put fresh strawberries in to the Champagne ice bucket.
My wife and I have stayed at 'The Victoria' through three different managerial regimes ove 20 years. This team is the very best.
Bravo, Andrew, Bravo Ryan and thanks to you all for your warm, genuine and great service.
Paul and Dee Desgranges.
P.S. The real ale is great too!

Room Tip: The sea view alcony rooms 1 and 2 are superb. The whole place has been lovingly upgraded by Andrew a...
