We found this spot accidently. Having seen it as we cycled past on the bridleway, we drove back to have lunch. The road is narrow in places, but parking, once there is adequate. The cafe/tea room has a pleasant, traditional atmosphere with tables in two seperate areas. The menu again is good traditional dales fare, from gammon to sweet scones, which are enourmous. The cakes looked fab, but as a low carb eater I was very pleased with the eggs, bacon, and sausages. It's not often that I'd rate egg and bacon as one of the best meals I'd had, but this one deserved praise. The food was well cooked and served on a good hot plate. It was all freshly cooked for us as we waited. We had a good sized pot of tea for two, and extra hot water, which seems rare these days. It wasn't cheap, but it was good value and we will definitely return for more good food.
