We came to Ashby by chance, found a B&B, and went on to look for a decent restaurant. After some looking around we ended up in Zamani's, and I can't praise it high enough.
It's an Italian restaurant as you'd expect one to be. The menu is good, the food is wonderful, and the service was a treat. It's not a fancy posh restaurant, and not all things are working entirely smoothly. But the owner took care of us from beginning to end. Checking after every course if everything was alright, and asking how we liked it. We were full after the main course, but just couldn't resist trying dessert also - hard work, but worth it.
We left Zamani's with a happily full stomach, and a hearty handshake from the owner.
