We had never been to Conkers before but drove 16 miles to visit on Saturday 28th April with myself, my partner and our 14 month old little girl. We didn't really know what to expect as we looked on the website and there wasn't any shows on and the weather was typical April showers, but so glad we went!
Soon as you get there we were explained and shown on the map the key areas to try out by reception staff and entered the indoor play and exhibits. We found that the indoor play was alittle to big for our little girl but found a smaller one in there which was a perfect size.
We left to try out the out door areas whilst the sun was shinning. We went on the train, out door play ground, barefoot walk (which looked brand new, very clean considering you walk in mud! and i would recommend you take a towel) I went on the assault course which i really enjoyed as it was challenging and defiantly would recommend you try it out.
Then the rain came (typical British weather) so back inside we went as we didn't take waterproofs with us, so we decided to have lunch in the restaurant, we ordered x2Jackets which were nice and fresh and wasn't really over priced which you would expect in a busy attraction.
We went over to the Waterside centre again to visit the Billy Bonkers indoor play as it's an under 7's area, spent an hour in there and went on a lovely walk through the forest.
Before we went we joined as members as we worked it out we would only have to come back once within the year and it's paid for its self. I Seen they do shows and Ranger activities throughout the holidays and as we don't live that far away thought it would be ideal.
Overall we had a lovely family day out! :)
