Stayed at the hotel whilst attending a function and have to say that the hotel delivers the function itself was well organised and the buffet of a high standard, the breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel and I would go back again just for the duck leg hash.... service was friendly and prompt and I liked the gift of home made biscuits as we left.
Our room a classic room in the lodge was large the bed very comfortable and bed linen of high quality, and the large picture window allowed fab views into the valley we saw owl and kestrel while gazing at the view. The weather was perfect and both sun rise and sun set spectacular and hotel has super grounds to walk around and the spa looked inviting.
The only comment I would make, when spending £108 per night the towels should be of bigger size and better quality and the bathrooms should be cleaner... housekeeping only get a 4/5.
