I am a regular at Botany Bay and agree that it hasn't been that great for a while, I also know that it is undergoing a massive re-organisation and things are definitely looking up. Each time I go now, I notice a difference. A lot of the old 'tat' that reviewers refer to has gone and the individual stalls that remain look smart and are well stocked. I've always found the toilets perfectly clean and my children absolutely love Puddletown Pirates. I found a lovely stall near the penny arcade selling angels and fairies, including the gorgeous fairy photographs of Charlotte Bird. Other highlights for me were the super jute bags from 'The Good Bag Co', a traditional sweet shop and a lovely stall selling dolls houses, to mention just a few. The addition of larger household names will help as well. All I would say is visit with an open mind and give it a go. It is quite a unique shopping experience and I so hope it succeeds. I would much rather go to Botany Bay, with it's character and quirkiness than a modern shopping centre without any individuality.
