“Excellent standard”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2011

I stayed here for two nights whislt undertaking my PADI scuba diving course at the nearby Eccleston Delph.
It is run by both Mike and Kate who are very friendly.
The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are of a very high standard. Free Wi Fi in rooms.
I was even offered a lift on both days by Mike the owner (which I accepted) to Eccleston Delph.
I cannot reccomend this B & B enough and would advise anyone to stay here.

Stayed here a couple of times recently, it was a shame it was with work. Fabulouse breakfast, made a change from fry up, clean rooms, was in double with work collegue, had fridge in room 1 which was handy, would choose again.

This B & B had everything I needed for a one-night stay - a large attractive room with a lovely clean en-suite, cosy bed and instantly adjustable radiators. I really appreciated the warm and friendly welcome after a long journey from East Anglia and slept like a log! Breakfast was served in the main house just a few steps away from the converted barn where my room was situated and I chose to try the porridge, which was delicious. Outside there was loads of space for parking and I wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful garden and stunning local countryside.

This bnb is clean, comfortable, recently refurbished and efficiently run. However, our room only had one small window so was quite dark and the decor was a bit sterile and lacking character. The name and website might lead you to assume this is a rural bnb but it is near a main road and in the town.

I stay at this B & B several times a year when in the area on Business. The standard of accommodation would put many overpriced Hotels to shame. Good pub across the road. Kate and Mike are very friendly hosts.

This B & B is very good place to stay. The bedrooms are in a converted barn, with solid internal walls and solid floors, so you dont hear a thing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served in the main house, it is a continental breakfast with porridge as an extra, also boiled eggs. The buffet selection is very comprehensive.
I hope to go back, it is very good. There is a good Italian nearby also a pub.
