“No fuss, just great food and service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

This is great cafe with excellent food and really reasonable prices.
Went there with 3 adults 4 children, ordered sandwiches, burgers and the excellent eggs, potato and chorizo. All arrived quickly and with lovely presentation. Lots of other happy diners too in a nice atmosphere. Had been before for just coffee and pleased that the food is just as hot and well priced. This is a gem of a place and superior to the over priced harbour and other "trendy" establishments in the high street. Whitstable has been crying out for a cafe like this, (EG not into itself and into ripping off customers) and long may it continue this way.

“Om nom nom”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2012

Nice a friendly local staff almost right on the beach.

I had a tea and the oh my god so tasty chorizo, potato and fried egg bowl. Completely recommend that dish! Nothing fancy just a warm cosy bowl of hot potato bits, chorizo, onion and two fried eggs on the top - utterly yummy.

My friend had a hot chocolate which he said was that great not too sweet taste and some lemon drizzle cake which I stole a fork of. Lovely and moist and a really good tangy lemon flavour.

Liked the basic beachy decor too :)

“HOG BAP”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2012

Super staff, lovely atmosphere, seconds from the beach, excellent menu, value for money! Cannot fault The Beach Cafe..... unless they have run out of HOG BAPS! If there are no HOG BAPS, you wont be disappointed for long, plenty delicious foods to choose from.

“Spot on Sunday Breakfasts by the beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2012

1. Location - 30 seconds from the beach
2. Trendy decor but not at all pretentious(though some customers are!!)
3. Traditional breakfasts all cooked to order (or for something a bit different try chorizo and eggs)
4. Value for money (£5.95 for regular 'full works' with unlimited T and C)
5. Service friendly (cheeky young waiter with kids = fun!)
6. The only downside to this place is it's popularity and no bookings taken - get up early!
