Was a average meal with friends on valentines. We were asked the same questions relating to menus and when we hadn't chosen as were still talking the waitress abruptly advised she would give us 10 minutes to decide. When food came out my friend found a hair in her food whilst waitress was there and was told that she "should of saved it" the waitress then walked off! Won't return in a hurry

“Good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

We booked a table midday to celebrate our daughters 21st Birthday, We arrived on time and was shown to table,.
Unfortunately the Boiler/heating was not working So very Cold bbbbrrrrrrr !! We had to all sit at the table in our coats with a calor gas fire barely keeping us warm.
We realise that things can go wrong and breakdowns happen, but apparently the heating had not been working all day so would of been a good idea- if I had been informed of this when I called to book in the early afternoon that day. would of given me the option to go elsewhere but by time we were there it was too late. But putting that to one side,
The waitress was very apologetic, the food was good, cooked well and hot. So apart from the chill all was good.
The manor Farm restaurant is part of the Beefeater group, It has a great atmosphere with a nice Bar and many tables on different levels. There is a Premier inn next door. Is Approx 20mins walk from Rainham, Kent Train station. Also is on a Bus route to Gillingham/Chatham Maybe Handy location for visiting Historic Rochester 2-3 stops on train. or 15mins by car.

“A mixed experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013 via mobile

We booked a table for 8.30pm, got there in good time but was told to wait 15 mins. Waited in the bar area, super busy, couldn't even get served for drinks, 2 waitresses behind the bar, they were swamped. Eventually got seated at 8.50pm and we didn't leave until 10.25pm. Service was too slow but food tasted great, the two need to mirror each other or the restaurant might suffer. This wasnt the first time the service was slow.

“Another excellent meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

I love the fact this is my local pub, never had any problems here, the food was so nice, I had dipping bread for starters it was so lovely. My main was maple pork ribs with chicken and the pork was so tender. Considering how rammed they were the service was great, the bar was a bit busy but thats a good sign, will always come back as they always have great deals on
