Lovely big space for exhibitions inside an old joinery workshop, very stylishly updated. Cafe offers breakfast and teas and home-made light meals (no licence), and good coffee. The seating and tables can all be arranged for events with drop-down screen for presentations. Friendly welcome. Artists rent other space in the building to work so it's all very active. The shop has a wide range of beautiful locally made items - perfect as souvenirs or presents, priced from very affordable up to luxury level - ceramics, prints, books, jewellery, drawings, cards, textiles, etc. Big clean toilets - quite unusual and very welcome feature.
Parking very nearby might be difficult if you want to linger over lunch, but there are spaces if you ask the staff.
Shows change every week or fortnight.
The website is a bit difficult to fathom out with small text and white print on black background but has the basic information.
Very dynamic and friendly place.
Always a pleasure to go in.
