Sorry for the awful pun - couldn't resist it. Stayed here with a friend in October, en route to France. Very clean, warm and comfortable - so all the major boxes were ticked. I don't know about you, but I don't go to B&Bs expecting the latest in furniture, jacuzzis and fitness centres - I would go to an hotel if I wanted to spend my holiday indoors. All the furniture fittings and essentials (lights, shower, toilet) worked and were easy to figure out. We had a warm welcome and although our only request was for some more milk in the room, I got the impression that the owner was very thoughtful and attentive. An excellent full English breakfast the next morning, and I was ready for the ferry. Deal Castle is about 200 metres away, and the town centre about 400 metres. Highly recommended as a base for touring, or in combination with the Dover ferry (about 22 minutes away).
